Liquid Level Sensors
SST Sensing’s optical liquid level switches are solid state, so there are no unreliable moving parts. They are compact, only protrude a small distance into the application and are able to detect small amounts of liquid.
The intelligent switches have low sensitivity to ambient light and are not affected by foam when in air, or small bubbles when in liquid. Their ability to survive in wide operating temperatures and harsh liquid media for long periods of time result in a very robust switch.
If our standard range of liquid level switches do not meet your requirements, housings, cabling and connectors can be customised to suit your application needs. We can also incorporate built-in features like PWM outputs and insensitivity to moving liquids.

Optical Liquid Level Switches (directs to sstsensing.com)
The SST liquid level sensors are solid state. When the sensing tip is immersed in liquid, the infra-red light from the sensor escapes making the output change state. The sensor can detect the presence or absence of almost any liquid type; oil or water based. It is insensitive to ambient light and is not affected by foam when in air or by small bubbles when in liquid.
LMK 458H Hydrostatic Level Probe
SST Controls hydrostatic sensors come in submersible, threaded or flange mount for precise liquid level measurements. DNV and LLoyds approval plus optional intrinsic safety certification provides a rugged sensor for use onboard ships and offshore vessels. Applications include monitoring levels of fuel, sewage, ballast tanks, service and storage tanks, and desalination systems.
