Measurement of high pressures and temperatures in environments where it is likely there may be explosive gases just got easier with SST Controls Pressure Data Logger.
The SST Controls Pressure Data Logger has some unique features that make the measurement process simple and painless and is certified for use in Zone Zero areas.
By thinking about what an engineer needs and the application, SST Controls have introduced a system that reduces both downtime and turnaround time for data acquisition.
Our Pressure Data Logger has two components that mechanically mate together to create a system.
- A high pressure process transducer in ranges up to 32,000 psi with common autoclave F250C (9/16-18UNF) or M20x1.5 internal threads.
- A rugged digital display showing pressure, temperature and peak pressure and a built-in recording function.
Connection and disconnection of the display from the transmitter can be performed in a Zone Zero environment allowing the display to be taken back to the safe area for data download. As the display automatically finds the pressure transmitter serial number and range when connected, multiple logs can be created by fitting the display to multiple sensors in the hazardous area prior to download in the safe area.
By separating the pressure transmitter from the recording display, SST’s pressure data logger ensures that the transducers process thread is kept in the sensing medium (liquid or gas), allowing the process to continue while data is being offloaded from the separated display.
Keeping the transmitter in place also prevents thread damage from continuous removal/replacement and over torquing.
The Pressure Data Logger comes in ranges of 14500, 23200, 29000 and 32000 psi have high overpressure ratings and burst pressures of 6000 bar, to minimise the chances of pressure spike problems.
With their high accuracy of 0.125% the pressure data logger can also be used as a reference gauge for calibrating other pressure transducers in the field.
Data recording at up to 50Hz and with a memory capacity of 600,000 readings ensure events can be reliably captured and pressure relief valve testing can be performed with the one gauge.
A push button backlight allows reading of live pressures and temperatures as well as minimum and maximum pressures seen by the gauge, to be checked at any time of day.
Protected to IP67 the pressure data logger display has three soft touch buttons for configuration to pressure units, zero point calibration, datalogging options and backlight settings.
The Pressure Data Logger is powered using three user replaceable Duracell Plus AA (LR6) batteries, the battery life of 2000 hours in standard use (88 continuous days) or 5 years in standby mode ensures long term measurement integrity.
The provided data-logging software is simple and straightforward. With the USB cable you can download the data to a CSV file and record the TAG/ project and serial number/name pressure and temperature values (if selected).
Supplied with optional calibration certificate traceable to National Standard or with UKAS certification as an option the SST Pressure Data Logger is ready to deploy in the field.
Options include a protective rubber boot, PELI case, spare batteries.
Technical support is available by phone, email or live chat,to immediately answer any questions and speed up installation and commissioning.
As an ISO 2015 certified organisation, SST manufacture, design, customise and configure a range of sensors and switches for gases and liquids. SST now has over 60 employees and our success is growing day by day. The core of this success is due to our strong commitment to our customers. Our primary goal is to deliver the required sensing and control solutions to our customers which exactly meet their technical and commercial sensor requirements. This can be achieved through our standard range of sensors or providing customer specific sensor solutions. We have been designing and manufacturing fluid and gas sensing solutions for over 15 years.
